Easy Smoked Apple Pie
Ingredients
- 1 frozen pie Crust
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 1 can already pie crust (for the top)
- For the smoker
- Apple juice
- Apple wood chips
Steps
Let the frozen pie shell sit out and come to room temp
Set something up with apple juice and apple wood chip set at 250
Smoke room temp pie shell for 10 mins to set some of the moisture out of it
Add pie fill to pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg
Roll out the ready pie shell and cut in strips
Take strips and place on top of pie filling
